I was really excited about spending a few hours by the beach, on that windy and chilly Sunday morning. The photograph was taken in November 2020, by one of the many beaches on Sandy Hook, here in New Jersey. I love the beach in every season but my favorite time is definitely any time there is quiet and space around me, when the only sounds I can hear are from the ocean and the seagulls.
