The unexpected desire to share my photographs...

First of all, welcome to my blog. I never thought I would do such thing, but here I am. It happened to me before...LOL.
Today I was checking notes about the art I have been creating and I found something I wrote back in 2020, right in the middle of the pandemic, and I would like to retype it here.
In case you don't know much about me, I have been living in the United States since 2012 and Italian is my first language so... "Excuse my English" and please let me know if I made any mistakes LOL

"I never thought I would be sharing that photograph I took almost 10 years ago. Most of the time I didn't even want to share my photographs on social media. I was feeling like they were too personal to show to everyone out there.

Photographs are happy or sad life memories. Sometimes they are the only things left to help us remember special moments we lived, or people and pets we don't have around us anymore.

This year, right in the middle of the pandemic, while I was spending more time at home like everyone, something changed.
Living suddenly in a scary (note: my whole family and friends live in Italy and I live alone here with my 3 cats) different world made me see many things in a different way.
In one month I found myself creating my first website and online gallery. I went through photographs taken during the last 10 years of my life and felt like finally sharing them with the world. What a weird feeling.

I never studied photography or owned a serious camera, most of my photographs are just as they came out, no manipulating or cropping. Every photograph has its own story and belongs to moments of my eventful crazy sometimes unusual life.

I hope each one of you will enjoy my collections"

Today January 20th 2022, I am glad to share for the first time my thoughts too. Unfortunately the pandemic is not just a memory yet.
